Before our scheduled shore excursion, we set out to find some reading glasses to replace my prescription glasses that went overboard in the Greenland Sea on Day 8. While asking one of the ladies in St. John's Ambassador program where to find an open drug store on Regatta day, she offered to drive Debbie & I to a nearby Shopper's Drug Mart about 1.5 miles from the ship. We took her up, and 30 minutes later, I was back at the dock with replacement glasses and several bottles of Canadian Diet Pepsi. And the lady from St. John's got a couple of big fans
